You may have been taught that we are all made up of matter, but that is only part of the story. We are made up of matter, which is made up of atoms. And atoms are made up of electrons that orbit a nucleus – but the largest part by far of any atom is empty space. It acts like an invisible force field, emitting waves of electrical energy. What this means is that we’re not really made up of matter… we’re made up of energy!
