Hey, everyone. Welcome to the MDM Minute with Peter Schenk. Today I’m out hiking on a beautiful fall day. I want to teach you how you can utilize leaves, the color of leaves in particular, to reach the higher octave. I live up here in the Northeast in the United States. This time of year is what they call peak, where the leaves are really at their most colorful point. We’re still about a week, maybe ten days off from that actually happening. Connecticut is one of the most sought after places in the world.
With that said, what you do is you find an area that has all of the colors. You can use the MDM eye as a representation of the colors all the way down from the lower reds and yellows all the way up to those deep purples. When you find a place when you’re out hiking, all you do is you use that color spectrum to raise yourself through those higher octaves. You just sit down, you get comfortable. There’s a lot of mosquitoes out here today. You sit down, you get comfortable, and you breathe the in breath through your nose and out through your mouth, and you put your attention on the crimson colors, the reds, the bottom of the [Hertzian plane 00:01:26].
You work your way up through the yellows, and you’ll find some greens, and then you’ll find some of the purples. Then of course that zero point color, which is that really dark purple. There’s actually quite a few trees here, but the color purple when the leaves are changing is really a hit or a miss. It’s like a three-day event, and sometimes they’re hard to find. You just concentrate on them as you’re doing the in breath. As you’re moving through the colors, you’re mentally projecting yourself up through the higher octaves until you reach the zero point, at which point you really become self-aware. It’s where monks reach that place of what they call “enlightenment.” You know what I think of that. We already did a video around that.
It’s a great way to get a really quick meditation in. Just breathe through your nose, find those leaves, move through the colors by putting your attention on them and honoring their space. [inaudible 00:02:19] honor the space in which you exist and so forth. Then at the end of it, thirty seconds, a minute later, when you open up your eyes, you’re completely calm. Everything is just going to be okay. You have a sense of self where everything is going to be okay. Really cool, amazing trick. Give it a try. Thank you.
